Seamstresses at the Shirt Factory collaborate in the prevention of COVID-19

Florida, 25 maz.- The seamstresses of the Shirt Factory of the municipality of Florida work from their homes in the manufacture of nasobucos, covers and sheets, to maintain this industry in capital repair work.

To date, they have produced more than 650 protective masks, 1,600 covers and are working on the preparation of 3,500 sheets, destined for the Ministry of the Revolutionary Armed Forces.

This group, most of them women, from their homes also comply with the sanitary hygiene measures adopted by the Ministry of Public Health, such as constant hand washing, the use of nasobucos, and hygiene of the place where they make the garments. .

Despite the capital repair carried out at the Shirt Factory in the municipality of Florida, more than 20 women from that center work from their homes, to support with their productions the preventive measures to prevent the spread of the coronavirus.
